Safety
Built in from the start, not added later
Meeting someone new should feel exciting, not risky. Here is what Twundle does before you ever say hello, and what you can do at any moment.
What we do
Before anyone sees your profile
- Every photo is screenedEvery photo is screened before other members see it, and any member can flag one we missed.
- A real phone numberYou confirm your mobile number with a code before anyone sees your profile.
- A distance, never a placeMembers see your town and how far away you are. Your location is rounded to about 100 meters before we store it.
- No links in messagesLinks are how many scams begin, so messages cannot carry one.
- Adults onlyTwundle is for people 18 and over, and your age is shown on your profile.
- A password nobody else knowsWe will not let you use a password that has appeared in a known data breach.
What you control
Block or report, two taps from anywhere
The ⋯ on any profile or conversation opens both.
- Block is silent. They are not told. Neither of you sees the other again, and any match ends.
- A report blocks them too, unless you choose otherwise, so you never have to see them while we look into it.
- A person reads every report. No account is removed by an algorithm alone.
- Nobody messages you first. Only people you liked back can write to you.

Meeting in person
Make the first date an easy one
- Video call first. A few minutes on camera tells you a lot.
- Meet somewhere public. A café, a market, a busy park.
- Tell a friend who you are meeting, where, and when you expect to be home.
- Get there and back on your own. Keep your plans and your ride in your hands.
- Leave whenever you like. You never owe anyone more of your time.
